Alba García Hontangas

Alba Garcia is from 97′, a change of millenniums’s child. She has her roots in the capital city of Madrid, Spain, where she still resides. Alba has been painting since she first laid her eyes on a brush which has led to a love of the craft. She is self-taught with respect to the learning-by-doing mentality and she acknowledges the importance of being a student of the craft which mirrors in her contemporary style.

About her art and style; Alba work in semi-realism contrasting it against modern impressionism creating her own small niché. It is not a niché consisting of only 1 singular kind of motive. Concerning the tools she uses, she loves to work with and on all material but she generally starts with acrylic paint Alba is not a believer in rules when it comes to one’s own art.
